Who says business and pleasure don’t mix? Newlyweds Tara and
Joel Green are partners at work and play. Their marriage sparked Gallery
of Love, a new Atlanta-based company that offers unique marriage certificates,
created from a series of original oils. The collection includes Impressionist,
art deco, art nouveau, Victorian and pop art designs. Each 12” x
16” certificate is personalized with the couple’s wedding
details. Deluxe frames complete the look.
When the Greens tied the knot, they were so disappointed by the ugly
black and white marriage license from their state that they turned their
frustration into a new business. Together, the two conceived the Gallery
of Love.
Many brides and grooms order their designer certificate and display
it at their wedding reception. For added fun couples can order a certificate
double-matted and have their guests sign on the matting for an extra
special keepsake. The beautiful document can then be hung in the home
and enjoyed everyday.
“It is our hope that couples who have one of these certificates
on their wall...will be as happy as we are and be renewed, rekindled
and reminded of their wedding day each time they see their certificate,” Tara
said.
